State Police honors fallen trooper who served at Ground Zero

EDEN, N.Y. — Retired New York State Trooper Mark Ondus committed to serving his community for 26 years.

“Mark was a hard worker, honest family man. A lot of the State Police was, always, like the superintendent said, around willing to help. Worked for a long time in the community,” said Kevin Wiles, New York State Police captain.
