Lawsuit filed by man wrongfully arrested in shooting death of JSU student death set for 2026 trial

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A man suing multiple entities after being falsely arrested for killing a Jackson State University student two years ago on Wednesday will have his day in court – next year.

U.S. District Judge Tom Lee has scheduled a trial in Joshua Brown’s civil case for October 6.
