A 24-year-old Lafayette man, Dentreal A. Mouton, was struck and killed by a car while walking in the left lane of Interstate 12 near Louisiana Highway 1249 on Monday morning. WGNO reported that the crash happened around 1:20 a.m. and involved a 2019 Honda Accord.
