Dallas police arrest teen after vehicle theft and pursuit

DALLAS, Texas — A 19-year-old man was arrested early on September 24, 2025, after attempting to steal a vehicle and evade police, according to the Dallas Police Department. Nathaniel Sepeda, of Dallas, Texas, was apprehended following a coordinated pursuit involving multiple patrol divisions.

Officers from the Central Patrol Division arrested Sepeda in the 1900 block of North Lamar Street after he attempted to flee. Utilizing real-time tracking from Dallas Fusion, police monitored Sepeda’s movements as he switched vehicles and made several stops in an effort to evade capture. He was ultimately apprehended in the 700 block of South Walton Walker Boulevard.

Both vehicles operated by Sepeda were confirmed stolen. A search of one recovered vehicle revealed a grocery bag containing marijuana, approximately $4,300 in cash, multiple identification cards, stolen license plates, two vehicle program scanners, numerous burglary tools, and five firearms, according to the Dallas Police Department…
