A devastating fire in Acadia Parish has left a couple without their home and claimed the lives of their pets. The fire sparked on Fortner Road near Branch Highway in Branch, and firefighters worked for several hours to control and put out the blaze. The home is now a total loss. Fortunately, the couple was not at home when the fire broke out, but tragically, their dogs died in the flames…
