Miyako Hotels & Resorts broke ground Oct. 15 on its first Texas location, a $117 million boutique hotel that will blend Japanese design with Texas hospitality.
The 12-story, 217-room Miyako Hybrid Hotel Plano is scheduled to open in fall 2027 at 6425 Legacy Drive in the city’s business and entertainment district, adjacent to Toyota Motor North America’s headquarters.
The property will be the third U.S. location for the hospitality brand owned by Japanese conglomerate Kintetsu Group Holdings, which operates 23 hotels in Japan and two in California…
