Juicy Kitchen in West Ann Arbor to Reopen Following September Fire

A cafe and kitchen that has been around for over 10 years is shut down for the time being, but the owners are planning on reopening with a new look.

In a recent report from MLive, Juicy Kitchen at 1506 N Maple Road experienced a fire on Sept. 17 which caused damage to the kitchen. During the closure, renovations will be happening in the space. Co-Owner Kelby Ziola told What Now Detroit the team is hoping to open in a couple months.

The fire started from a freezer malfunction. No one in the kitchen was hurt, but there was some damage to the interior. According to the GoFundMe page about the fire, there was “extensive damage,” and everything had to be taken out of the cafe…
