WALNUT COVE — What began as deputies executing a King arrest warrant in a Walnut Cove residence led to an unexpected surprise — a weapon of mass destruction — and a cache of other weapons as well.
On Oct. 14 the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office assisted King Police Department detectives with an investigation of a vacant car being shot into in the Walmart parking lot in King on Monday, Oct. 13.
