One of the potential candidates to replace Jonathan Smith as the Spartans’ head coach has commented on his name being linked to many big-time jobs.
The future for Smith at Michigan State has quickly come into question after last week’s embarrassing blowout loss to UCLA. That loss extending the Spartans’ losing streak to three games has many calling (and expecting) for a coaching change for Michigan State.
With the chatter picking up on a potential dismissal of Smith, predictions and thoughts on who could replace him have started to occurred, with one current group of five head coach getting a lot of interest from the Spartans’ fanbase. That is USF head coach Alex Golesh. However, earlier this week Golesh was asked about his name popping up on a number of coaching candidates lists and he did his best effort to shut that down…
