“No Kings” Moves: New location: is on Broad Street behind Linebaugh Library

Murfreesboro, TN – This Saturday’s “No Kings” rally in Murfreesboro has a new home. Originally planned for The Avenue, the event has been relocated downtown due to multiple activities scheduled in the shopping district. Rallygoers will now gather on the public sidewalk along Southeast Broad Street, behind the Linebaugh Library. The time and date remain the same: 2:00 until 4:00 o’clock this Saturday afternoon (10/18/2025). Only the rally point has changed. It will be on Southeast Broad, behind the library.

Organizers from Murfreesboro Indivisible say the change ensures a safer, more accessible space for participants. Parking is available in the Linebaugh Library garage, the Rutherford County Judicial Center garage, and on nearby streets around the Square.

The rally is part of a nationwide day of peaceful, nonpartisan protest against authoritarianism and in support of the U.S. Constitution. Thousands of similar events are planned across the country.
