The Amarillo High Lady Sandies kept up their proud tradition that dates back decades rolling over arch-rival Tascosa in a three-set sweep, 25-19, 25-21, 25-15, on Tuesday night at the AHS Activity Center.
The Lady Sandies (28-8 overall) continue to be the standard when it comes to 5A volleyball in the Texas Panhandle and South Plains capturing at least a share of the District 3-5A championship with the win. The Lady Sandies can clinch the outright league title once again when they play at Lubbock Monterey on Friday.
