AUSTIN (KXAN) — A 911 call from a smart watch tipped police off after two women discovered a stranger inside their Pflugerville home who, according to an arrest affidavit, robbed them both and sexually assaulted one at gunpoint. A man was arrested Oct. 8 and charged with nine felonies related to aggravated robbery, kidnapping and sexual assault in Pflugerville.
According to Travis County court documents, 28-year-old Dominic Jamal Rhodes has been charged with the following:
- two counts of aggravated robbery
- two counts of aggravated kidnapping
- aggravated sexual assault
- burglary habitation intend other felony
- unlawful restraint of a public servant
- theft of a firearm
- tampering/fabricating physical evidence
