ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A judge will sentence a woman convicted of killing a man with a hatchet in an Albuquerque hotel room back in 2023.
Angel Salazar killed Ramon Martinez in a room at a Days Inn hotel near Central and I-25. Police found Martinez had been hit more than 80 times with the hatchet. However, security camera video showed Salazar entering and leaving the victim’s room with an unidentified man.
There is no word on whether investigators have leads on who that man is or whether he’s facing charges…
