SPOKANE, Wash. – Efforts to clean up a mineral oil spill in the Spokane River between Argonne Road and Felts Field continued over the weekend.
According to the Washington Department of Ecology, cleanup contractors worked to collect impacted debris from river boom points.
Ecology noted that heavy rain helped disperse the oil, and no sheening was observed on the river between Argonne Road and Upriver Dam over the past two days…
