Despite uncertainty around the federal shutdown, Punta Gorda Airport will host the Florida International Air Show on Nov. 1 and 2. The show marks a strong return after weather disruptions sidelined the 2024 event. Questions linger about the U.S. Navy Blue Angels’ participation.
“The federal government shutdown could end at any time, and our team is maintaining full readiness to host an incredible weekend celebrating aviation,” said Denise Dull, president of the Air Show Board of Directors, according to WGCU.
