FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A woman charged with murder entered a plea deal Thursday that would keep her behind bars for at least 20 years, according to the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
Yvonne Broadnax, 48, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter acting under “sudden heat”, a Level 2 felony. If a judge accepts the deal at her sentencing, the murder charge would be dropped.
