ST. LUCIE COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A woman was arrested after seven animals in her care were found to be living in unlivable conditions.
According to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office (SLCSO), six dogs and a cat were found severely neglected inside the home. Deputies reported an overwhelming odor of urine and feces, with animal waste covering the floors, furniture, and tables. Investigators noted the animals were using the interior of the home as a bathroom.
