ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man has been arrested after a multi-month-long search and investigation into alleged drug selling and a police chase in the City of Canandaigua.
On March 17, 2025, Canandaigua police attempted to arrest 26-year-old Jonathan J.J. Matthews Jr. for allegedly selling drugs multiple times in the city.
They said Matthews drove away in his vehicle and hit an unmarked police car. He then allegedly drove on the sidewalk to evade police. Due to his erratic driving and high speeds, the chase was called off for the public’s safety…
