SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – On Thursday, the community gathered to celebrate the ribbon cutting ceremony of the Dundee Cottages. The development includes 39 new homes for those struggling with homelessness.
The new cottages are located next to The Cove at Dundee homes that specifically house homeless veterans.
Each home’s rent varies depending on the size of the cottage. Rent ranges from $650 to $850 per month and includes utilities. The amenities in the homes will be fully furnished kitchenettes, bathrooms, built-in-beds, storage space and a front porch. Other services residents will have access to are a computer lab, a commercial kitchen, laundry facilities and more…
