EL PASO, TX – Prosecutors revealed during a bond hearing Tuesday that cheer coach Christopher Sotelo with the Texas Bandits All-Stars could have as many as 100 victims connected to allegations of recording children at a local gymnastics facility.

Assistant District Attorney Cristina Viesca-Santos told the court that investigators plan to present all 100 suspected cases at once, emphasizing the magnitude of the investigation and its impact on the community.

Prosecutors Say El Paso Cheer Coach May Have Over 100 Victims

During Tuesday’s hearing, Sotelo’s bond was reduced on three of five charges. Originally set at $100,000, $50,000, and $20,000, each was lowered to $15,000. The judge ordered that Sotelo remain under intensive level supervision, report weekly to a probation officer, and stay at least 200 yards away from the Texas Bandits All-Stars facility on Pellicano Drive.
