BATON ROUGE, La. (KLFY) — The Louisiana Department of Education has released what could be its last annual list of Louisiana Blue Ribbon Schools, and Acadiana is well represented.
Caneview Elementary in Iberia Parish, Cecil Picard Elementary in Vermilion Parish and Early College Academy in Lafayette Parish are among the eight schools honored on this year’s list.
“These schools have demonstrated a clear and consistent commitment to educational excellence,” said Louisiana State Superintendent of Education Cade Brumley, in a news release. “It’s an honor to recognize the hard work and leadership of these students, educators, and families.”…
