After an alleged hit-and-run, a police chase that began on Hwy 121 in Fannin County ended on Hwy 11 east of Randolph with an officer-involved shooting. The pursuit did not end in a crash. The officer was not injured, and law enforcement does not believe that the gunfire hit the other person, but they took them to the hospital with minor injuries. The officer was not a Fannin County Deputy. Texas Rangers will handle the investigation.
