RCSO says escaped patient was missing for 14 hours before law enforcement was notified

ROGERS COUNTY, Okla. — A “violent” patient at a Rogers County mental health facility was missing for 14 hours before law enforcement was notified, according to the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO).

Sheriff Scott Walton said the patient, identified as 43-year-old Beaux Jones, walked away from the Grand Mental Health Claremore Horizons Residential Care Facility earlier this week.

Walton said staff at the facility last saw Jones around 8 p.m. the night before he was reported missing, but the sheriff’s office was not contacted until the following day…
