SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Drivers should be able to travel on a new Interstate 229 bridge deck built with more than 2.8 million pounds of concrete and sand in Sioux Falls, an official said Thursday.
Harry Johnston, an engineer with the South Dakota Department of Transportation, said an aggregate mix that includes sand and concrete accounts for the 2.8 million pounds.
