MultCo deputy found justified in shooting man who pointed gun at officers, DA says

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Multnomah County Sheriff’s deputy was found justified in shooting a man who pointed a gun at officers back in early June, according to the District Attorney’s office.

Additionally, the man, identified as Luis Cervantes-Santiago, has been indicted on multiple charges stemming from the same incident.

The shooting originally occurred in the 4600 block of Northeast 116th Avenue on June 6.
