CHATTANOOGA, Tenn — A woman faces charges in Chattanooga after police say she resisted arrest and kicked an officer in the face outside of a local nightclub early Friday morning.
Police were called to Shady’s at 1401 Cemetery Ave., at about 3 a.m. after a manager reported several fights in the parking lot that involved mostly women. An affidavit says when officers arrived, they found groups of people yelling but no active fighting.
Security staff told officers that several women in a maroon SUV had been involved in the fights. Officers located the vehicle and said the driver did not immediately stop despite repeated commands and attempts to get her attention…
