Sophisticated ‘jackpotting’ scheme targeting ATMs hits Tri-State; 3 men indicted

CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) – A sophisticated crime known as “jackpotting” has reached the Tri-State area, targeting ATMs and leading to the indictment of three men by a Clermont County grand jury.

Ivan Rojas, Luis Arraiz, and Christian Lares face charges of grand theft, telecommunications fraud, and safe-cracking, all linked to a jackpotting scheme at three ATMs at Sharefax Credit Union on Ivy Gateway in September.
