More than 1,000 new homes planned for Marshall to meet BlueOval workforce demands

MARSHALL, Mich. — Over the last couple of years, the City of Marshall has been ramping up their construction in an effort to strengthen the local housing market.

Projects will continue into the near future, according to the Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance (MAEDA), which announced plans for more than 1,000 new homes to be built in the area over the next five years.

Ongoing construction projects are meant to meet the growing need for workforce and community housing, as Ford continues expanding their workforce for the BlueOval Battery Park in Marshall…
