MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee said during a press conference Tuesday morning that hundreds of people arrested by the Memphis Safe Task Force were violent criminals.
“850 violent arrests,” the governor said. “And we’ve said all along that this an effort that is targeted at violent crime in Memphis.”
