Former Ochsner doctor who hid cameras in hospital bathrooms sentenced

A former doctor at Ochsner Medical Center has pleaded guilty to hiding cameras in staff restrooms at the Old Jefferson hospital to secretly record employees, according to court records.

Andrew Matthews, 39, pleaded guilty to six counts of video voyeurism on Wednesday.

Judge Lee Faulkner of the 24th Judicial District Court sentenced Matthews to seven years in prison but suspended six years, court records said. Once released, Matthews must serve two years of active probation…
