Fall may have arrived on the calendar, but the Dallas-Fort Worth area is set for one last summer-like punch this weekend. A strong storm system moving through Saturday afternoon could bring gusty winds up to 60 mph and quarter-sized hail, particularly along and east of I-35.
The National Weather Service in Dallas-Fort Worth warned that Saturday could see potent storms capable of strong winds and hail. “A few storms on Saturday [could] produce strong winds and hail—especially along and east of I-35 where low-level moisture will be higher,” forecasters said. While tornadoes remain unlikely in the Metroplex, the storms could still pack a punch for residents.
