17-year-old charged in 2024 West End murder

ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis teen has been charged with gunning down a 19-year-old in the city’s West End neighborhood this past December.

According to a probable cause statement from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened around 1 p.m. on Dec. 17, 2024, in the 5600 block of Enright Avenue.

Police said the victim and his girlfriend were driving a 2018 Ford Focus and headed back to her home. When the victim parked, the shooter walked up to the Ford Focus and opened fire, spraying bullets all around the vehicle.
