The recall of various fruit products over a possible listeria contamination has received the highest risk warning by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Wholesale Produce Supply of Minneapolis, Minnesota, issued a voluntary recall on September 26 after routine sampling showed potential bacteria contamination. The FDA graded the recall a Class I, the highest of three classifications, on October 15.
