A rather interesting situation unfolded in Boulder on October 14, involving a man authorities described as “dressed not unlike a 90s era Backstreet Boy” allegedly swinging a large red machete at people.
When Boulder Police Department officers responded to the initial report, it was discovered the suspect had already fled from the scene. This prompted the department to call in aerial assets, utilizing their drone team to track the suspect down.
The suspect was ultimately easier to spot “among a sea of beautifully changing fall leaves” thanks to his all-white outfit, including his hat – indeed reminiscent of something the Backstreet Boys might have donned in their prime.
