Bomb squad deployed to Carson City apartment

CARSON CITY, Nev. (KOLO) – The Tahoe-Douglas bomb squad and its associates conducted a search of a North Carson Street apartment about 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15, after a small improvised explosive device was detonated in the downtown area on Sunday, Oct. 12, according to Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong.

A person was arrested Sunday and remains in custody in connection with the explosion, Furlong said.
