SALEM, Ore. — The first fall schedule of Eastern Washington men’s golf’s return to Division I competition came to a close on Wednesday. The team completed the Beaver Invitational at the Illahe Hills Golf Course in Salem, Ore. EWU shot 893 (+29) and placed 11th at the Invitational.
After struggling in round one (+19), the Eagles improved dramatically in round two (+7) and closed even stronger in round three (+3).
A pair of Eagles moved up the leaderboard, with Cal Anderson and Hogan Park tying for 27th on the individual leaderboard after both shooting 222 (+6). Park had a massive rally, shooting 69 in the third round to move up 31 places. Anderson delivered a 70 in the second round, closing with a 73 on the final day…
