With the Winter Olympics less than four months away, Anchorage’s Carter Brubaker continued his ground-breaking career by becoming the first Alaskan to win a national championship in nordic combined.
Brubaker emerged as one of the country’s leading nordic combined athletes last weekend at the U.S. Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined National Championships in Lake Placid, New York.
