Thousands expected to join No Kings Day rally in Albany Saturday

ALBANY, NY (WRGB) — Organizers of the No Kings Day of Action are preparing for a significant turnout this Saturday, with protests planned across 50 states and more than a dozen countries. In Albany, Mayor Kathy Sheehan and other Democratic leaders have urged the community to participate in the rally, which has been endorsed by local elected officials.

“I will see you on No Kings Day. We will be there, we will march, we will make our voices heard,” said Sheehan.

The rally aims to address federal budget cuts on education, ensure immigrants’ right to due process, and protest the administration’s alleged use of power against rivals.
