ALBANY, N.Y. – The man accused of causing a crash that killed a motorcyclist from Schenectady is eligible to be released on bail.
Jacob M. Snide, 33, appeared in Albany County Court on Friday for a hearing. Snide has been charged with second-degree manslaughter, second-degree assault and reckless driving in the July 14 crash near Route 9W and Corning Hill Road in Glenmont.
Police said Snide crossed the center line and struck a motorcycle being operated by 32-year-old Patrick Lafortune Jr. Snide was not hurt…
