Cleveland woman accused of billing Medicaid for client behind bars

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Medicaid fraud investigators have busted a Cleveland woman who is accused of submitting claims for made-up services.

The Ohio Attorney General’s Office says Laquandra Williams, 37, is one of eight people indicted this week in Franklin County court for Medicaid fraud.

Investigators said Williams quickly knew her time was up, with one of her first statements being: “So, do you know when my court date is going to be?”…
