Complaints detail alleged assault by two Del Mar Dual-Credit instructors in Falfurrias

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Two instructors at Falfurrias High School who also teach for Del Mar College through the school’s dual credit welding program are accused of assaulting a student during class, according to criminal complaints filed in Brooks County.

The documents, signed by Justice of the Peace Rolando Garza and sworn by Deputy Vicente Lopez of the Brooks County Sheriff’s Office, detail allegations involving Jose A. Uribe Jr. and Martin Christian Fonseca.

According to the complaint, a male juvenile student told administrators that on Sept. 11, Uribe, identified as a welding instructor, was searching for his personal keys and began pinching students with a pair of needle-nose pliers. The document states the student reported that Uribe “pinched him hard on his right butt cheek causing him a lot of pain” after first pinching him on his arm…
