Sioux Falls Man Arrested On Warrant In 2023 Inwood/Cherokee Theft Case

Inwood, Iowa — A Sioux Falls man has been arrested on a warrant for theft and other charges after he is alleged to have been driving a stolen pickup and to have made purchases in Inwood in 2023.

According to a criminal complaint filed with the Lyon County Clerk of Court’s Office by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, 42-year-old Damon Clarambeau of Sioux Falls is accused of taking a pickup and using the victim’s credit card. He was arrested on the warrant on Wednesday at the Clarinda, Iowa State Correctional Facility.

In his statement, the deputy says Clarambeau drove a stolen Chevrolet Silverado 2500 in Lyon County to Lil’ Chubs Corner Stop in Inwood. He says the vehicle had been stolen from Cherokee County and was valued at about $50,000. He says Clarambeau then made two transactions with the victim’s stolen credit card, which was in the vehicle.
