Restaurateur Charles Barber Jr., known for Aftermath Bar & Kitchen and Born & Bred, is preparing to launch his latest concept, Rosewood, in Downtown Gilbert. The restaurant is slated to open in January 2026 at the former site of The Bar.
Unlike his popular Aftermath Bar & Kitchen, which made waves with its scratch-made comfort food and lively energy, Rosewood will introduce a chef-driven menu paired with an upscale dining experience. Guests can expect elevated dishes crafted with locally sourced ingredients, bold cocktails, and a sophisticated late-night lounge that brings a new dimension to Gilbert’s nightlife scene.
