8th grader charged after gun threat investigation at local middle school

CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) – A 13-year-old student from West Clermont Middle School has been charged with disorderly conduct in a school zone after allegedly showing pictures of a gun and making threats involving a firearm.

School administrators on Friday reported the incident to the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office after several students alerted staff about the concerning behavior. Detectives identified the student responsible, who denied the allegations but cooperated with the investigation.
