Two high school seniors will serve as student-elected representatives on the Christian County Board of Education, district officials announced in a press release prior to their swearing-in at Thursday’s school board meeting.
They are K’Veon Ivory, of Christian County High School, and Karla Quintanilla, of Hopkinsville High School.
“It’s an honor to once again welcome two outstanding CCPS high school students to serve on our Board,” Superintendent Chris Bentzel said in the release. “Our student board members bring valuable insight and ensure that student voices remain at the heart of our decision-making. As we enter our fourth year of this successful initiative, it continues to reflect our commitment to viewing students as essential partners in shaping the future of Christian County Public Schools.”…
