A Dunkirk man was charged with DWI following a one-vehicle crash in the Town of Sheridan. On Friday around 6:55 PM, deputies with the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle that stuck a utility pole on Route 20. The operator was identified as 21-year-old Julian Alcongaspar, who was not injured but was found to allegedly be intoxicated while driving. A passenger who was also in the vehicle was hospitalized for injuries in the crash.
