Man sentenced for shooting that left Lexington boy blind

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Lexington man was sentenced Thursday for his role in a 2020 shooting that left a 5-year-old boy blind.

According to court documents, 23-year-old Michael Lemond was sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of second-degree assault and two amended counts of second-degree wanton endangerment.
