Irvington man killed in Escambia County crash

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — An Irvington man was killed in a car crash Friday afternoon, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

The crash happened around 1:05 p.m. on Jack Springs Road, about 2 miles northwest of Atmore in Escambia County.

According to ALEA troopers, the driver, 84-year-old Edward Lambert, was killed when the 2003 Dodge 2500 pickup he was driving left the road, struck a tree, and overturned.
