ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Dayton Street from Hudson Avenue to Bauman Street in Rochester has reopened after being closed for several hours as Rochester Police investigated a person with a handgun.
Police say at around 4 a.m. Saturday, they got a report of an altercation where a person had a handgun. They say as it evolved, they found it necessary to shutdown Dayton Street between Hudson Avenue and Bauman Street for several hours.
No shots were fired and nobody was was hurt. Police say more investigative tasks are under way, and no charges have been made yet…
