A Seymour woman was killed late Thursday morning, October 16, 2025, when her vehicle collided with a train west of Seymour in Webster County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 10:54 a.m. on Box School Loop, about 20 feet west of Seymour. The Patrol said a southbound 2001 Chevrolet Silverado failed to yield and was struck by a westbound General Electric GASH 9-44CW train.
The driver of the Silverado, a 58-year-old woman from Seymour, was wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene by Webster County Deputy Coroner Robert Jernigan at 12:30 p.m…
